A principled and preponderately propitious priest has proffered the Pope a poor person's popemobile in the form of a 20 year old Renault 4. The priest, Father Renza Zocca, was so impressed by the latest Pope's austerity drive that he offered him his old jalopy, which has 190,000 miles on the clock. The Pope took him up on his offer, and drove off in it, much to the surprise of his bodyguards. Cool car, Francis.

Despite the scandals, he's quite reasonable when it comes to financing.

It is good that he's widened the appearance gap between the Papacy and Communist Dictator, even if the previous vehicles were provided for free.
I have catholic tastes in cars, but not Catholic ones.

Agreed. He seems like a genuine good guy, for a clergyman.

I think the vast majority of clergymen are "good guys". It's not as if they go into it for the women, money and fame. It's the few pervs, sickos, fraudsters and megalomaniacs that give the rest a bad name.

You do know that many clergymen go into it to hide their true selves, right?

I was about to say that a Renault 4 is definitely a lot more than 20 years old, but to my amazement production only ended in 1992!
Turns out it was in production for 31 years.

It may sound like I talk out of my ass, but I'm saying this out of experience from having met quite a few of these gentlemen.

Oh, I don't doubt your experience, but there are millions of them around the world, so the confused ones are a very small minority.
